That was great. I was a bit young to go on my own to games then, but still have happy memories o the football and the music.

By the way, sorry to hijack this, but some wanker who claims to be West Ham is talking shit about Bonzo on this youtube vid's comments: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mtw5mZ_p3og

They are so well done. I was just too young to see David Cross play and my teenagers had never heard of him but came into room when I was watching it and just stayed and watched the whole thing. "Len" clearly knows how to make a good video.

Scored a hat-trick in the first match I went to. 3-0 v Ipswich.

I think that may have created some unrealistic expectations for me...

One of our best signings. His four goals at White Hart Lane are on YouTube.
I don't think you could wish for a more honest professional footballer than Psycho.
Another of John Lyall's great buys.

His goals are talked about mostly but his control with the ball usually from a kick form Parks was outstanding with his head chest or feet then placing the ball at the feet on a team mate who didn't have to move a a inch was a joy to watch.

As well as being a great player and a striker, Crossy for a northerner was a damn good egg

Re: A Mancunian Footballer in London - David Cross - West Ham
He was a great header of the ball and quick with his feet, but that goal against Watford is my favourite, they had that same goal playing at the start of some kids tv programme every week when I was young.

Re: A Mancunian Footballer in London - David Cross - West Ham
Crossy will always be remembered for the 4 goals at the Yids in our first season back, 1st away game as well, Clemence home debut for them.

But anyone else on here, who was also at Blundell Park Grimsby, near the end of our promotion season

We won 5-1, Crossy scored 4 there as well - bet there are not many players who have scored 4 at away matches just a couple of games apart

For Northerners and Scotchers, Ray Stewart, David Cross and Alvin Martin absolutely GOT what being a player at West Ham, meant
